Bruno Thiry won the 1993 FIA front-wheel drive cars World Cup for Opel virtually singlehandedly. He had in early 90's many fine Opel drives and his best result was 2nd overall in Ivory Coast 1992. In '94 he joined Ford with some very good results and almost scoring his first WRC victory in Corsica '95. In 1998 he signed to drive a full year for Ford with moderate success.
