Colin McRae, Scotland

Colin McRae is so far the most successful member of the McRae rallying family. He entered WRC in 1992 with Subaru after winning the British Rally Championship and now at age of 28 he is one of the greatest talents in the series. In the early 90's he proved several times that he can be faster than anybody, but unfortunately often his speed has been too much to handle and he couldn't keep it on the road. Colin's first WRC wins are from New Zealand; he won there in '93 and again in '94. His magnificient drive in the 1994 RAC Rally, which he won without opposition, was a hint of things to come. In 1995 he, after a close competition, became the first British World Rally champion, clinching it again with a superb win in the RAC.
